描述
The CytoTune™ -iPS Sendai Reprogramming Kit is a high efficiency, integration- free, easy-to-use somatic cell reprogramming kit used to generate induced pluripotent stem cells (iPSCs). This kit utilizes Sendai virus particles of the four Yamanaka factors, which have been shown to be critical in the successful generation of iPSCs. The 1 pack includes 1 vial of each gene (Oct3/4, Sox2, Klf4, and cMyc) for a total of 4 vials. • Reduce hands on time - enables successful reprogramming in one simple transduction• Generate more cells - high efficiency reprogramming offers more iPS cells from a single experiment• Use in a broad range of experiments - lack of genomic integration and viral remnants allows use from basic to clinical researchEasy to UseThe CytoTune™ -iPS Sendai Reprogramming Kit provides a simple system for reprogramming somatic cells. For most cell types, the CytoTune™ kit requires only one application of the virus for successful reprogramming, unlike other methods such as Lentivirus and mRNA which can require multiple rounds of transduction. Selection of colonies is also easier with the CytoTune™ –iPS Sendai Reprogramming Kit due to the lower number of non-iPSCs generated. Generate more cellsThe CytoTune™ -iPS Sendai Reprogramming Kit generates iPSCs with an efficiency as high as 1%, a 100-fold improvement in efficiency over standard methods such as lentiviral and episomal, which produce iPSCs with an efficiency in the range of 0.0001% to 0.01%. Each pack provides enough material to reprogram 1 x 106 cells at an MOI of 3. Use in a broad range of experimentsThe CytoTune™ -iPS Sendai Reprogramming Kit utilizes the non-integrating Sendai virus for the creation of iPSCs, allowing you to use this kit for both basic research and pre-clinical research, including disease studies. Other virus types used for reprogramming, such as lentivirus, contain transgenes that can integrate into the host genome, potentially disrupting the genome or causing unpredictable results. The genetic material delivered by the Sendai virus particles used in this kit remains in the cytoplasm and does not require nuclear entry for transcription, thus minimizing the chance that viral transgenes will be integrated into the host genome.Check the Certificate of Analysis for specific titers.
